PinochleRun is a free site for pinochle players. The name comes from the run, the Ace-Ten-King-Queen-Jack of trump, the meld every bidder hopes to see.
What’s here
- The game. Single deck and double deck pinochle in your browser. You can play against the computer, join a quick match with real players, or open a private table for friends. No download, no account.
- The rules. How to play pinochle, the meld chart and the double deck rules. Each is checked against published rule sources: Pagat, the National Pinochle Association’s tournament rules, Bicycle, and the 1914 and 1926 Hoyles. Where tables play differently, the pages say so.
- For the card table. Printable rules, score sheets and a score keeper for your phone.
The rules our game plays
The game follows World of Card Games’ rules for single deck and double deck pinochle. That means bidding from 25 (50 in double deck), a four-card pass in single deck, the Rule of 20 in double deck, and games to 150 and 500. The rules pages explain each rule and how other tables vary it.
Who runs it
PinochleRun is part of a small family of free card game sites, alongside euchre.cards, CribbageBox and Rare Pike. The online games on PinochleRun run on the same game server as Rare Pike’s.
